24th June – Wildflower Workshops Participate in hands-on pollinator and insect events at Duthie Park during Aberdeen Insect Week.

24th-28th June – North Atlantic Fiddle Convention Opening at the Music Hall with performances by over 100 local young musicians,
this convention celebrates traditional fiddle and dance.

27th June – Granite City Festival is an outdoor music festival and family-friendly gathering held at Hazlehead Park.

22nd August

Huntly Blue Light Open Day is on Saturday 22nd August from 10am to 2pm at East Park Street Car Parkin Huntly.
The day will include various emergency services, partner agencies and local groups. Children will have the chance to dress up, sit inside various emergency vehicles, get their finger prints taken and much more.
East Park Street Car Park, Huntly will be closed from the evening of Friday 21 August until 1600 hours on Saturday 22 August 2026

3rd OCTOBER

• The Fraserburgh RNLI is hosting a fundraising dinner and dance on the 3rd of October at the Fraserburgh Leisure Centre. Enjoy a 3 course meal, a chance to get some amazing prizes, entertainment from M2 and a few surprises of course. To book your tickets contact eilidhsutherland4@gmail.com.

• Talking Point is a Recovery & Wellbeing Group which meets every second Wednesday between half 10 and half 12 at The Vinery in Banff.

• The Sunday Market and Car Boot Sale at Thainstone in Inverurie is back every weekend with free entry to the public between 9 and 3. Visit thainstoneevents.co.uk for all the details.

• The Fraserburgh Community Mens Shed at in Albert Street is having a new knitting/crocheting/sewing group on Fridays from 12.00 until 1.30pm! Come along for chatter, tea and biscuits and creativity.

• Inverurie Farmers Market is held in Inverurie Town Square on the 2nd Saturday of the month from 9am–1pm.
It’s a vibrant market in the heart of the Garioch, Inverurie is a hub for all things local. Expect fresh fruit and veg, homemade preserves, locally reared meats, and friendly banter with producers who know their stuff.
Don’t miss a buttery warm from the oven and a coffee from one of the local roasters.

• Clubbercise fitness classes take place every Thursday from 7pm at the St Combs Community Hall. Moving your body to club anthems in a darkened room with glow sticks. All abilities welcome. Spaces are limited, so book your spot now at gymcatch.com

• Join us at Family Inspirations, a welcoming and supportive group for adults only affected by substance abuse — whether personally or through living with someone experiencing it. We meet every Wednesday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at The Buchanhaven Heritage Centre. Come along for a cuppa, a warm meal, and some friendly conversation in a non-judgmental environment.
